I took this as part of an assignment for my portfolio class and titled it
Daisy Drops. I submitted it at the PPO meeting in Toronto last night, and it won a merit. My instructor is insisting that I submit it to the Nationals in Winnipeg. We'll see it if survives...

This was on the front page of the paper yesterday. The subject matter is a little small-townish, but I am proud of my cut line, which they kept the way that I submitted it: Taya, 4, holds an African Violet that she carefully selected as a gift for her grandmother, Saturday, at Bradford Greenhouses. It was part of an article titled,
Signs of Spring.
