Apartment Sprouting
Sprout kit by sproutmaster.com
Guide to sprouts.
One large pickling jar.
Stainless steel jar screen.
This kit came with five 100 gram packages of Certified Organic Seeds: Green Pea, Hulled Sunflower, Mung Bean, Eston Lentil and Adzuki.
First, I will attempt to grow Adzuki.
Sprouts can be used in salads, sandwiches, soups, stews, stirfry's, breads, cereals, desserts, milks, cheeses and more. Sprouts are biogenic foods, this is to say that when sprouted they will create new life. They are the most concentrated and natural sources of vitamins, mineral enzymes and amino acids(proteins) known.
Place seeds from one package into a jar, fill the jar 3/4 full. Stir seeds in water to rinse. Drain any water and debris. Refill jar to 3/4 full, cover the jar with screen and let soak for 8 hours or overnight. Simple.
